Due to the discovery of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan the university announces quarantine for a two-week period starting from the 16th of March.

All university lectures, as well as social events, club activities and classes at the language center under the university are suspended. The dormitory is closing as well. The disinfection both in the university and dormitory will be performed, all lecture and dormitory rooms will be sealed.

In accordance with the rector’s order, during the quarantine the following procedures are to be followed:

• University and dormitory are closed for the public under any circumstances: students, professors, applicants and their parents etc.
• All certificates, tuition fee receipts are to be sent/received online
• All social events are cancelled
• It is recommended to stay at home and to not attend public places
• All students from outside of the capital are encouraged to return to their home, in return the government has made a plan to increase the number of air flights, as well as auto- and rail links within the country.
